Build Egyptian Vacation Rental Application – "جارو"

Design & Develop a Simple, Hyperlocal Vacation Rental App – “جارو” (Garo)
Project Description:
We are building “جارو للتكنولوجيا العقارية”, a mobile-first vacation rental platform tailored for the Egyptian market, starting with the North Coast (الساحل الشمالي). Inspired by the simplicity of Airbnb, Booking.com, and local Egyptian habits, the app must be intuitive, lightweight, and accessible for users of all education levels — with the aim of eliminating brokers and hidden fees.
We are now inviting developers or teams to participate in this competitive tender-style project to deliver the first full UX/UI mockup and clickable prototype, followed by app development upon approval.
What We’re Looking For:
We need a talented UI/UX designer or mobile development team to create:
Phase 1 – App Mockup (What this job includes):
• Full user experience flow for:
• Guests: Search, browse listings, book, pay, leave review
• Hosts: List a unit, upload photos/audio, manage bookings
• Design for Arabic (RTL) language, mobile-first
• Clickable prototype using Figma, Adobe XD, or Flutter UI
• Design should reflect simplicity and warmth of Egyptian culture
We want something highly intuitive, even for users unfamiliar with tech.
Deliverables:
1. Full mobile app mockups (guest + host flows)
2. Clickable prototype (Figma/XD/Flutter UI)
3. Logo and splash screen integration
4. Arabic font integration (RTL-friendly)
5. Interactive visual representation of:
• Filters by “mood” (e.g., لمّة عائلية – خروجة شباب)
• WhatsApp-based communication
• Listings with audio reviews and photos
• Booking & confirmation UI
• Voice assistant entry point (زينب / عبد السميع)
Expected Timeline:
• Initial mockup + prototype: 2 weeks from award
• Development quote & timeline (Phase 2): To be proposed after Phase 1
Tech Stack Preferred (Phase 2 reference):
• Frontend: Flutter
• Backend: Firebase / Supabase
• Voice: Google Speech API / Whisper AI
• Payments: Fawry / Vodafone Cash (to be integrated later)

1. Portfolio or screenshots of previous apps you’ve designed (preferably mobile-first, Arabic-friendly, or travel/e-commerce)
2. Estimated cost for the mockup + prototype phase (not full development)

Our mission with “جارو” is to empower everyday Egyptians to book affordable vacation homes directly from owners — with no brokers, no commissions, and full transparency. We want to provide a safe, tech-enabled space for both hosts and renters across Egypt, starting with الساحل الشمالي and later expanding to Ain Sokhna, Alexandria, Fayoum, and Upper Egypt.
The app will also feature AI voice agents (زينب & عبد السميع) to guide users through the platform — so innovation and local insight are key.
