linxu bash search OS logs for soft link creation (5 stars) (more work avail)

A softlink was created back in June and disappeared; how can I find by looking in OS logs; if the link was created back in June. Is there any place to find if it was or was not?
is it different on ubuntu ? or different on centos? what is the command for each?
Any information that would help me would be helpful; ask me.

While this is hourly; there is a max of $15 that I can pay, as being a cancer patient is tuff and been out of work. Hourly will give you more $ as there is less money taken between us from freelancer
