Software Defined Networking - Virtualization

Enabling Virtualization of SDN Networks: Deploying a single physical network for each service provider is an expensive solution, especially if the network is overprovisioned, thus such networks are typically not utilized fully. A more "cheaper" solution is to enabling service providers (tenants) to share one physical network seamlessly. Sharing or virtualization in SDN is enabled by introducing a middle layer, placed between tenants SDN controllers and the data plane. The goal of this project is to enable such behaviour by developing a new controller/hypervisor app. Similar to Flowvisor, but with fewer features, focusing mainly on topology abstraction.
