QEMU/ProxMox Scalable VM Environment Setup

Job ID: 39490300

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

Deployment of Isolated Virtual Machines Environment Using QEMU / PROXMOX

Objective
The objective of this project is to set up and configure an isolated virtual machine (VM) environment using QEMU or PROXMOX.
This infrastructure will be scalable and designed to allow automated control of each VM instance via Selenium scripts.

Requirements
Virtualization Environment

Configure a base image that can be cloned and customized for multiple VM instances.

Each VM must run a lightweight operating system (ideally a minimized version of Windows). Alternative OS configurations may be acceptable if they support web browsing.

Each virtual machine must include:

A functioning web browser.

A unique fingerprint (Canvas, AudioContext, WebGL, Fonts, etc.)

Minimal resource usage to allow high density per host machine.

Scalability :

Initially deploy 10 VMs.

Design the infrastructure to scale up to several hundred VMs based on resource availability and demand.

Performance & Isolation

VMs should operate independently without shared state or detectable similarities.

The system must manage resources to avoid overload while ensuring each VM remains responsive.

Deliverables
A functional based environment with 10 deployed VMs.

Scripts or instructions for creating and configuring additional VMs.

Documentation detailing:

System setup.
VM creation and customization process.
Resource management and scaling practices.
