Fix Django 502 Gateway Error
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My production site is built with Django, served by Gunicorn behind Nginx on an Ubuntu box. Since this morning every request returns a 502 Bad Gateway from Nginx. I haven’t changed anything intentionally, but something clearly broke and I need it back online fast.
What I expect from you:
• SSH in, trace the root cause across Nginx, Gunicorn, systemd and the Django app logs
• Apply the fix (or roll back whatever is causing the failure) so the site loads normally again
• Give me a short summary of what went wrong and the commands or config lines you adjusted
You’ll have sudo access, plus the current Nginx and Gunicorn config files. Once the homepage renders without errors and systemctl shows all services active, the job is done.
