Clone Lightsail Ubuntu Server
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I need my existing Amazon Lightsail Ubuntu instance duplicated into a different Lightsail account while keeping the same domain online with zero noticeable downtime. The job covers the whole stack—every configuration file, installed package, SSL certificate, cron job, and custom tweak—nothing should behave differently on the new machine.
All databases must come across intact. Please handle the export, transfer, and import so that applications start on the new server already pointing to the restored data. Storage layout must mirror the original (identical disk size, attached volumes, and mount points).
I will provide console access to both Lightsail accounts and the registrar panel so you can update DNS when the cut-over test passes.
Deliverables
• New Lightsail Ubuntu instance in my second account, booting without errors
• All services responding on the existing domain and SSL valid
• Databases fully migrated and verified with sample queries
• Storage partitioning and attached disks matching the source server exactly
