We are seeking an experienced Networking Consultant to assist in designing a wired and wireless network infrastructure for a new manufacturing facility in the U.S. The ideal candidate must have expertise in Ubiquiti networking products and experience in industrial/manufacturing environments, ensuring the network meets industry standards for performance, security, and scalability.
Key Responsibilities:
• Design and implement wired and wireless network infrastructure for the manufacturing plant.
• Configure and optimize Ubiquiti network devices, including routers, switches, access points, and security gateways.
• Ensure compliance with industrial networking standards and best practices.
• Provide documentation and support.
• Design, deploy, and manage commercial-grade networking solutions using Ubiquiti hardware.
• Ensure full adherence to PCI compliance standards and best practices for payment security.
• Configure and maintain firewalls to safeguard sensitive data and prevent unauthorized access.
• Implement and monitor network security measures, including intrusion detection, encryption, and access controls.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to optimize network performance for credit card processing and retail systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve networking and security issues, ensuring minimal downtime.
• Provide documentation and training for in-house IT teams.
