Univers Kerning & Spacing Revamp
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I need a clean, legally usable clone of the Univers Original true-type font family, but with its spacing and kerning re-engineered to match a reference PDF I will supply. The specimen shows very specific pair-by-pair relationships, so I’m looking for meticulous, custom adjustments rather than simply making the overall fit tighter or looser.
Here is the workflow I envision: you decompile or import the existing TTF, analyse the current metrics, apply the pair-based kerning I mark up in the digital document, then rebuild and test the font so the new tables compile without warnings in FontLab, Glyphs or a comparable editor. Once everything lines up with the specimen, export a final, install-ready TTF (same naming and encoding as the original) plus the editable source file for future tweaks.

• Univers Original clone with updated kerning/spacing as a single .ttf file
• Working project file (e.g., .glyphs or .vfb) containing the revised metrics
• Quick proof sheet showing key pairs so I can visually confirm the changes
