Thriller Trilogy Cover Design
Budget: $250 – $750 AUD
I’m ready to commission cover art for my three-book psychological/domestic thriller series and I want each title to feel unmistakably part of the same universe. All three stories orbit the theme of coercive control in relationships, with book-specific angles—coercive control itself in Book 1, toxic masculinity in Book 2, and sovereign-citizenship ideology in Book 3. Visually, I picture a realistic style anchored by silhouetted characters that hint at the menace beneath everyday life. Bonus if the books feature a local feel from Fremantle in Western Australia.
Across every cover I’d like:
• a single, striking silhouette (or silhouettes) as the focal point
• muted, thriller-appropriate colour palettes that tie the series together
• typography that is consistent from book to book, making the trilogy instantly recognisable on a Kindle carousel or a bookstore shelf
Deliverables (one set per book):
1. Kindle-optimised front cover (JPEG, 300 dpi, Amazon specs)
2. Full-wrap paperback cover (front, spine, back; print-ready PDF with bleed)
3. Layered source file (PSD). No AI generated images please.
If you’re comfortable evoking tension through subtle, realistic imagery and silhouettes—and can maintain that through-line over three distinct yet connected designs—I’d love to see how you’d approach this project.
