The Framed View

Job ID: 40626624

Budget: $30 – $250 USD

I have already worked out the core concept for my new SimpleBlinds identity—“The Framed View.” Now I need a skilled logo designer to translate that concept into polished final artwork.

Here is the vision you’ll be building on:

• Message: the mark must immediately communicate trust and stability, so every line and proportion should feel solid, balanced, and quietly confident.
• Form: a custom-drawn serif wordmark spelling “SimpleBlinds,” matched with a minimal monogram that weaves an elegant “S” into an architectural window frame sized to the 1 : 1.618 golden ratio. No literal blind slats or louvers; the effect comes from clean parallel negative space that hints at filtered light.
• Typography: think classical roots—Cinzel, Cormorant, Trajan-style cues—but redrawn for true uniqueness, high contrast, refined serifs, and generous tracking. The .com.au qualifier will sit beneath in a geometric sans such as Montserrat or Proxima Nova, spaced wide in caps to balance the serif header.
• Colour: a monochromatic palette only. I want the strength of pure form and tone without colour distractions, so please plan for black, white, and a single neutral if needed for depth.

Deliverables I need from you:
1. Primary lock-up (wordmark + monogram) in vector formats: AI, EPS, SVG, and hi-res PNG.
2. Monogram-only and wordmark-only variations, positive and negative.
3. A concise style reference sheet outlining clear-space, sizing rules, and the golden-ratio construction grid.

You’re free to sketch by hand or jump straight into Illustrator, as long as the final files are fully editable and cleanly organised. I’ll review initial concepts, request one round of refinement, then approve final artwork.

If custom serif drawing, geometric precision, and subtle negative-space storytelling excite you, I’d love to see your portfolio and get started right away.
