Italy Road Trip Map Design

I’ve just returned from a road adventure that wound through more than 20 destinations across Italy, and I want to see that journey laid out on one classic road-map style graphic. Think vintage Michelin clarity rather than whimsical illustration: clean lines, accurate geography, primary and secondary roads, and a clear route line running from stop to stop.

Every location will be identified by its full name directly on the map—no numbers, pins, or generic icons—so legibility and smart typography are important. I’ll supply an ordered list of the towns and cities, the approximate driving path, and any reference materials you might need.

Deliverables
• Print-ready PDF (minimum A2 at 300 dpi)
• High-resolution JPEG or PNG for easy sharing
• Editable source file (AI, PSD, or SVG) so I can tweak dates or add notes later

Acceptance criteria
• All 20+ destinations accurately placed and clearly labeled by name
• A continuous, visually distinct route line connecting each stop
• Overall look and feel matches a traditional road map—no cartoon elements
• Fonts and colours remain readable when printed at both poster and A4 sizes
