Arabic Typeface With 2K Ligatures
Budget: ₹500,000 – ₹1,000,000 INR
This project centres on producing a traditional-style Arabic typeface optimised for digital publications (EPUB, PDF, responsive HTML/CSS). The finished font must include roughly 2,000 ligatures and fully engineered OpenType code that delivers advanced mark positioning—mark-to-base, mark-to-ligature, mark-to-mark, contextual anchoring, and fine-tuned collision handling—so every shadda, sukun, or tashkeel lands exactly where it should, regardless of text flow or device resolution.
I will provide a master glyph set in vectors and a usage spec. The design needs to respect classical proportions and stroke modulation while remaining legible at small screen sizes. Feature files should be compiled into both OTF and TTF builds tested across InDesign, Illustrator, HarfBuzz, and the major web engines.
Deliverables:
• Final OTF/TTF + source files (FontLab/FontCreator/UFO)
• Organised .EPS/.SVG vectors (as available)
• Windows .KLC/.EXE/.MSI installer + layout PDF; macOS .keylayout bundle + installer + layout PDF
• User/installation guide (PDF) & keyboard cheat-sheet (PDF)
• QA(Quality Assurance) summary + known-issues list (if any)
Acceptance is based on complete diacritic coverage, zero positioning errors in supplied test strings, and successful display in the listed engines.
