I have a printed English book that I need converted into an editable digital file. Your task is straightforward but demands precision: carefully type the entire text exactly as it appears on the pages, preserving headings, paragraph breaks, italics, and any other visible formatting. Spelling, punctuation, and line spacing must match the original, as this will become the base document for a future re-print.
You may work in Microsoft Word or Google Docs—whichever you prefer—as long as the final file is clean, fully editable, and laid out to mirror the printed version. I will provide high-resolution scans or clear photos of each page once we start.
Key points for success:
• Absolute accuracy in transcription (no OCR shortcuts; manual typing only).
• Consistent formatting that reflects the book’s current appearance.
• Page numbers inserted where they occur in the print copy.
• A brief progress update every 50 pages so we can correct any issues early.
When the last page is complete, deliver both the original working file and a final PDF export for quick review.
