TypeScript + Phaser 3 game developer + SmartFox multiplayer
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
Hi! I'm looking for a game developer in TypeScript + Phaser 3. It's an avatar world addon for an existing NFT game (no crypto programming nedeed, it's already done).
DETAILS:
A prototype of the project is partially done, including loading a Tiled map, walking around, sorting avatar with objects, some interaction etc. I expect to further develop this for some time, but you might take this over later on.
There is a multiplayer feature coming up, built in SmartFox. This will add a multiplayer avatar chat to the world. Again, I will develop this initially, but you might take over later.
YOUR ACTUAL JOB:
You won't start on the avatar world, instead you'll start to develop a minigame launched from within the world (I guess a separate Phaser scene).
- It's a turn based card minigame, so it should be pretty straightforward (I'll send the rules to final candidates).
- You will develop both the client and server side. This is a multiplayer game. Client developed in TypeScript / Phaser 3.
- Server side logic uses JavaScript, but there are TS types available as well (optional whichever you choose).
- I can help with setting up a local SFX instance(for your testing), but it should be pretty easy.
- You should have basic understanding of client/server programming concepts, including the security fundamentals (like: never trust the client).
- I don't expect any architectural marvels, but your code should be reasonably clean / easy to reuse & extend.
PAYMENT:
- This project would be paid *hourly*. I do expect the maximum rate around $20/hr. If you bid less, you'd of course have a higher chance to win the bid.
- I'm a developer myself, and so I have a feel about how many hours +- things should take. I do expect a reasonable efficiency. I will ask in advance how many hours you estimate for various milestones, and if it seems overestimated, I'll look somewhere else, unfortunately.
- Only individual contractors. If you're a team of programmers, or spamming an offer without even reading this text, I'm deleting your offer instantly (sorry in advance).
Thanks!
