Project Overview
The Jefferson Center for the Arts (JCA) in Mount Shasta, California is hosting its World Music Festival across two weekends in September 2025. The festival features six unique performances by internationally acclaimed artists. Shows are scheduled for Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings at 8 PM, with doors opening at 7:15 PM for JCA members and 7:30 PM for the general public.
The venue seats 125 guests on a first-come, first-served basis. Tickets are available via Humanitix, where all artist bios and event information are listed:
• Festival Passport (all 6 shows): $90 (available through Sept 12, 8 PM)
• Single Tickets: $20 in advance / $25 at the door

What We Need
We are seeking a freelancer or small agency to handle social media advertising and promotion for this festival in the two weeks leading up to opening night. All event designs, graphics, and artist information are already prepared.
The primary need is consistent, strategic online promotion to maximize ticket sales and visibility.
Deliverables
• Daily social media content posting & promotion (Facebook + Instagram; optional TikTok/YouTube shorts if recommended)
• Ad campaign design & management (targeting local + regional audiences interested in live music, cultural events, and world music)
• Creative ad variations (text + graphic/video adaptations from provided assets)
• Engagement monitoring (responding to comments/messages, boosting reach as needed)
• Performance reporting (brief summary of reach, clicks, conversions at least twice before event)
Timeline
• Project start: Immediately (within 48 hours of hire)
• Duration: 2 weeks, through festival close
• Posting frequency: Daily (at least 1–2 posts per day across platforms)
• Ads: Continuous run, optimized for ticket conversions
Budget
• Open to proposals: hourly or fixed-price for the 2-week campaign
• Seeking cost-effective but results-driven approach
Skills Needed
• Proven experience in Facebook & Instagram Ads for event promotion
• Graphic design & copywriting for engaging ads
• Knowledge of live music / performing arts audiences a plus
• Strong communication & reporting
