CodeIgniter 4 Designer Dashboard

Project Overview

I need a clean, modern, fully functional Designer Dashboard built in CodeIgniter 4, based on an existing design specification.

The dashboard will display performance metrics for a designer profile.
Unlike a purely static frontend, this version must be implemented so that the dashboard loads and displays the data from a database.

The final result should closely match the provided layout reference, be responsive across devices, and follow clean coding standards.

Requirements

Build a responsive dashboard in CodeIgniter 4 with the following components:

1. Designer Profile Card
Profile photo
Start Date: 2015-02-12
Experience Level:
should be calculated automatically based on the join date
use 3 experience levels
logic should be derived from the date joined
2. Project Overview

Display the following metrics:

Total Projects: 24 (with comparison: “Last month +/-”)
Ongoing Projects: 12 (with comparison: “Last month +/-”)
Pending Projects: 5 (with comparison: “Last month +/-”)
Completed Projects: 7 (with comparison: “Last month +/-”)

These values must be pulled from the database, not hardcoded.

3. Performance Graph

Create a line chart showing projects per month:

November: 10
December: 15
January: 20

The chart should be integrated into the dashboard UI and rendered using a permissive-license library.

4. Work Hours

Show weekly work-hour-related information, including:

total weekly work hours
the project with the most time spent

This data should also come from the database.

5. Issue Rate

Display:

Fault-Free: 80%
With Errors: 20%

Include:

a visual progress bar
a section for projects to be fixed
6. Quality Metrics

Show:

Total Project Issues
This Month: 20
Last Month: 16

Also display:

Project by Difficulty Level
Basic: 35%
Intermediate: 45%
Advanced: 20%
Project by Phase
phase-based distribution of projects
7. Team Performance

Display:

Top Performer: Alex R. — Rank 1/8
Your Performance: Rank 2/8 designers
8. Additional Visual / Shape Sections

Any layout elements, cards, badges, or UI shapes shown in the reference design should be implemented as closely as possible.

Backend / Technical Requirement

This project must be built in CodeIgniter 4.

Expected implementation:
Dashboard page developed inside a CodeIgniter 4 project
Data loaded from MySQL / database tables
Proper use of:
Controllers
Models
Views
Clean separation of logic and presentation
Database queries should feed the dashboard metrics dynamically
No API calls are required unless necessary internally
The system should be structured so the displayed dashboard values can be maintained from the database
Important:

I do not want a static HTML-only dashboard.
I need a CodeIgniter 4-based dashboard connected to the database, which displays the above specifications dynamically.

Technical Expectations
Clean, modern UI
Fully responsive (mobile + desktop)

Clean, maintainable code
Reusable components where appropriate

You may use frontend tools/libraries if needed, but the final solution must work inside CodeIgniter 4.

Licensing & Clean Code
Important:
No commercial libraries or assets with restricted licenses
Use only MIT, Apache 2.0, or similarly permissive open-source libraries
No pirated software
No cracked UI kits
No unlicensed fonts or icons
If using a chart library (such as Chart.js or Recharts), it must be free for commercial use
All fonts must be free for commercial use (Google Fonts or system fonts)
Full ownership of the delivered code transfers to me upon completion
The code may not be reused in other projects without permission
