Twilio Hold Music Integration
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
I’m updating my current Twilio voice flow and need callers to hear branded hold music whenever they’re placed on hold. The MP3 files are already prepared and hosted, so the task is purely about wiring them into Twilio.
What I’m after is a clean, reusable solution—TwiML, a Twilio Functions script, or equivalent API code—that drops the hold track in the moment a live call is switched to hold, loops it seamlessly, and hands control back to the agent the instant hold is released. It needs to slot into my existing Node.js app or Twilio Studio flow with only minimal tweaks.
Deliverables
• Working code (or Twilio Function) with in-line comments
• Brief README showing deployment steps, environment variables, and console testing instructions
If you’ve handled audio or queue logic inside Twilio before, this should be a quick lift.
