AI Conversation Engineer — SMS Logic Only (Do NOT Apply Unless You’re Senior)
Budget: $1,500 – $3,000 USD
We’re hiring a battle-tested AI Engineer to build the SMS conversational brain for our AI business messaging system.
If you haven’t built real, production SMS/chat systems used by actual customers:

This job is for someone who already knows how to architect, ship, and maintain an AI texting system from end to end.
What You Will Actually Do
Not theoretical work — real engineering.
Build multi-step, high-accuracy SMS conversation flows across multiple industries.
Translate messy business workflows into tight, deterministic AI logic.
Implement booking flows, service intake, ordering logic, FAQs, menus, payment-link logic, etc.
Combine LLM reasoning + strict rule-based guardrails.
Design JSON schemas, validation rules, and error-handling.
Integrate with APIs, webhooks, backend events.
Test and break your own flows before they hit production.

Minimum Requirements (Non-Negotiable)
You must already have done all of this — not read about it, not watched tutorials on YouTube.
Built production-grade AI SMS/chat systems used by paying customers.
Deep experience with prompt engineering, structured prompting, and deterministic flows.
Expert-level use of OpenAI GPT-4o/4o-mini or similar APIs.
Strong in intent classification, memory handling, state logic, and fallback design.
Strong with JSON, schemas, webhooks, and REST integrations.
Able to convert complex business processes into reliable conversational logic.
Experience debugging and optimizing conversations from real customer transcripts.
If you’ve only built “wrappers” or demo bots — this is not your job.
