Twilio Flex Specialist Needed: API, Texting, Calling
Project Description:
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Twilio Flex developer to help us set up and customize a robust customer communication system. Our goal is to create a seamless platform for handling customer interactions via text and voice, with integrated contact management.
Core Requirements:
Twilio Flex Setup:
Initial setup and configuration (if not already done).
UI customization (branding, workflows) to align with our needs.
Agent and supervisor dashboard setup for optimal performance.
Texting Capabilities:
Inbound & outbound SMS/MMS support.
Crucially, conversations must be grouped per customer for a unified view.
API messages should also be threaded to ensure continuity in customer interactions.
Calling Capabilities:
Inbound/outbound voice calls directly via Twilio Flex.
Call recording + transcription (should be saved and easily accessible for review). [Note: Twilio has built-in features for this, and we expect proper implementation.]
Conference calling with internal/external parties. [Note: Twilio has built-in features for this, and we expect proper implementation.]
Contact Management / CRM Integration:
We require the use of ONE OF THE MANY PUBLIC PLUGINS/integrations available for Twilio Flex to manage contacts. Please specify which plugin you recommend and have experience with.
Basic customer profile view (name, number, interaction history).
Ability to easily search & filter contacts.
Note-taking or timeline view (simple log of past interactions) for agents.
The system needs to have an API/way to add more contacts, ideally compatible with make.com or any custom restful service. This is essential for external data synchronization.
What We're Looking For in a Freelancer:
Proven experience with Twilio Flex development and customization.
Strong understanding of Twilio's APIs for voice and messaging.
Experience with CRM integrations, particularly with Twilio Flex.
Ability to deliver clean, well-documented, and scalable code.
