Vector Illustrator for T-Shirt Designs
Budget: $30 – $250 USD
We are an apparel screen printing shop looking for additional contract artists for occasional projects. We do plastisol screen printing - our favorite t-shirt designs often use the t-shirt color in the design which makes for a lighter, softer, more comfortable print. For future design work we would need 48 hour (business days) turn around on most projects with varying budgets.
Must be vector proficient! (We use CorelDraw for editing).
NOT anime, NO photoshop, NOT comicbook art - keep in mind screen printing is not a square, not full coverage! Looking specifically for an artist with an understanding of t-shirt art: how to incorporate simple backgrounds, context, etc that work with the graphic.
NOT looking just for branding/logo design!
The Initiation Project:
Looking for a vector design/illustration for a women's biker t-shirt. Black or dark grey t-shirt, 1-3 color screen print (you chose). Must be clean vector artwork (not auto-traced or in a million pieces).
We've all seen the t-shirts with pin-ups or female models in bikinis next to some motor oil brand, etc. I want to do a biker t-shirt for women: A nearly nude man, leaning/modeling against a 1970s Honda CB400 motorcycle. Specifically NOT wearing motorcycle gear! Contemporary styling, interesting, fun, creative. No clip art.
