Once a load is booked, you’ll build an efficient route that trims deadhead, watch HOS to keep every run compliant, and stay in constant, clear contact with the driver so surprises are handled before they become problems. I expect rate confirmations, detention or TONU requests, and any related paperwork processed promptly and filed so accounting is effortless.

Success here is measured in revenue per mile and consistency: if you can keep each truck earning solid numbers week after week while maintaining driver satisfaction, you’ll have plenty of autonomy to run the board as you see fit. Familiarity with Truckstop is a bonus, but deep comfort with DAT is non-negotiable.
