Windows RDS Connection Troubleshooting -- 2
Budget: ₹1,500 – ₹12,500 INR
Our Windows Server-based Remote Desktop environment has some connectivity issues. Although the physical network has been tested end-to-end and looks clean, every user on the LAN sees slow log-in times and random session drop-outs. The users can only login again after the server is being restarted.
What's our preliminary observation is either the RDS CAL license has expired or there is some other underlying issue.
Here’s what we need:
• Diagnose the root cause of the sluggish log-ins and dropped sessions.
• Audit the current RDS CAL licensing setup, explain any warnings you find in the Event Viewer, and restore full compliance if something was broken.
• Optimise relevant settings (session host, licensing server, group policy, NIC, TLS/NLA, etc.) so performance across the LAN returns to normal.
• Supply a brief hand-over note summarising what was fixed, which logs confirmed success, and any clean-up or monitoring steps I should keep in place.
I can give you administrative RDP access and a short maintenance window to test reconnects from multiple client machines. Once the connection stability is back to normal and the licensing server reports cleanly, the task is done.
