Windows Desktop PC Hardware Repair

My primary work machine — a Windows-based desktop PC — has developed a hardware fault that prevents it from booting reliably. The operating system itself is healthy, so the job is focused strictly on diagnosing and repairing the physical components.

Scope
• Identify the failing part – possibilities include power-supply, motherboard, RAM, or internal cabling.
• Replace or repair the faulty component on-site and verify all connections (SATA, PCIe, fan headers, etc.).
• Run a full POST and stress-test so the system loads Windows without errors, overheating, or unexpected shutdowns.

Acceptance criteria
1. Desktop powers on consistently, passes POST, and reaches the Windows desktop.
2. No hardware warnings in Device Manager or BIOS after a 30-minute stress test.
3. A brief hand-over note listing what was fixed and any parts installed.
