IT Support, Troubleshooting and Maintenance -- 2
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
I run a computer-centric business that relies on a hybrid setup—part cloud, part on-prem servers—and I need a reliable partner to keep everything humming. Day-to-day, the help I’m after centers on two fronts: tracking down and fixing software glitches before they hurt productivity, and handling the nuts-and-bolts upkeep of our desktops, laptops, printers, and the small server room we still operate.
Here’s what that looks like in practice:
• Software troubleshooting: isolate crashes, apply patches, resolve compatibility issues across Windows and Linux, and speak with vendors when escalation is required.
• Hardware maintenance: swap failing parts, run preventive diagnostics, clean equipment, and advise when a full replacement is more cost-effective.
I raise tickets as problems arise and schedule routine maintenance windows each quarter, so responsiveness during business hours is key. For transparency, I expect a brief incident report after every job plus an updated maintenance checklist at the end of each quarter.
If you’re comfortable navigating hybrid environments and already use remote-access tools such as AnyDesk, TeamViewer, or an RMM suite, let me know how you like to structure your workflow and track resolutions. Thanks, and I look forward to working together.
