IT Specialist & Content Writer
Budget: $30 – $250 CAD
I’m looking for someone who is equally comfortable troubleshooting technical issues and explaining them in plain English. Day-to-day you’ll be helping me keep my small business tech running smoothly—think routine maintenance, security checks, user support—then translating what you’ve done into concise documentation, how-to guides, or the occasional blog post so non-technical staff stay in the loop.
I care more about clear communication and solid, hands-on know-how than about ticking a rigid skills checklist, so if you’re confident with common network, server, or security tasks and enjoy writing about the why as much as the how, we’ll be a good fit.
Deliverables I expect:
• A brief plan outlining the first round of tech tasks you’ll tackle.
• Clean, reader-friendly write-ups of any fixes, configurations, or best-practice recommendations you implement.
• Availability for follow-up questions and light ongoing support once the initial work is wrapped up.
Let me know what tools and platforms you work with most, share a sample of your past technical writing, and tell me how soon you can start.
