Mexico IT Field Engineers Needed
Budget: $15 – $25 USD
I need two skilled IT field engineers at each of several datacenters in Mexico City, Monterrey, and Guadalajara on 25 May 2026. Your mission is to swap out legacy servers, bring the new hardware online, and keep operations smooth while coordinating live with my remote technical team.
Scope of work
• Perform all hardware installation steps—rack, cable, power-on, and verify.
• Troubleshoot anything that prevents a clean hand-off, from component errors to network connectivity.
• Provide general datacenter / IT infrastructure support until the new servers pass health checks.
Collaboration
During the 2-to-6-hour intervention you will:
• Stay on an open bridge for real-time troubleshooting with Tier-3 staff.
• Deliver concise progress updates as key milestones are reached.
• Submit a brief post-intervention report with photos and final status.
Requirements
• Proven experience replacing servers in live environments.
• Comfortable working under time pressure and following remote instructions.
• Own standard field tools and a reliable way to reach every assigned site.
