Mac 4K Resolution Mirroring Using Better Touch Tool -- 2
Budget: £18 – £36 GBP
I’m trying to mirror my Macbook’s built-in display to a 4K external monitor, I have a damaged area of the screen on the left side of 5cm, but the rest of the screen is still usable. I've failed in un attempt to set up screen mirroring with a new resolution floating the screen to the right.
What I need from you
• Set up a mirrored resolution that looks crisp on both screens without microscopic UI elements.
• Do it through BetterTouchTool so I can toggle the setting with a gesture or shortcut afterward.
• Provide a quick write-up (or short screen-recording) explaining what you changed so I can repeat or adjust it later.
• I also need to adjust the scaling so that font and windows look bigger on a higher resolution.
A remote session is fine as long as we finish with a stable, repeatable mirroring profile that survives reboots and display reconnections. If this sounds straightforward for you, let’s get it fixed today.
