I’m working with a MESSTEC VFM 10-25 fast current modulator to switch a laser diode on and off, but the diode isn’t responding at all. Power supplies are stable and every connector between the modulator and the diode has already been reseated, so loose wiring is off the table. I need a fresh set of eyes to pinpoint what’s blocking the modulation signal and guide me to a fix.

Here’s what I’d like from you:
• Review my wiring diagram, scope traces, and datasheets for both the VFM 10-25 and the diode driver.
• Walk me through signal-path checks (bias tee, termination, impedance matching) to confirm the modulator actually delivers current pulses.
• Identify any configuration jumpers, dip-switches, or firmware settings on the VFM 10-25 that could mute the output.
• Suggest repeatable test points and acceptance criteria so I can verify proper modulation before re-connecting the laser diode.
