Hot Tub Motor Repair
Budget: $250 – $750 USD
My hot tub’s motor has stopped working altogether. The heater, shell, and plumbing seem fine, but the tub simply will not start because the motor refuses to kick on. I have not yet opened the cabinet or tested anything—no checks on the power supply, circuit breaker, or motor connections—so the problem could range from a simple wiring fault to a full motor replacement. I am located in Hicksville.
I’m looking for someone who can:
• Diagnose why the motor is not starting (tools such as a multimeter or clamp meter will probably be needed).
• Carry out the repair or replacement, re-seal and refit everything, and verify that water is circulating correctly afterward.
• Walk me through any maintenance steps I should follow to prevent the issue recurring.
Please let me know your approach, the approximate time you’ll need on-site, and any parts you think should be sourced in advance. Photos of the control pack and access panel are available on request.
