Fix Telegram Sign-In Error

I already have a telegram account and I am trying to login in to my telegram account via my IPHONE. At login screen it asks for my phone number which I enter. Then it asks for an email id. I enter the email id (a hotmail id) and proceed. It sends a code which I enter. After code is entered I get message Sorry this email cant be used. My telegram account is logged into web browser but there is no way I am able to login to my app. I tried to enter an alternate yahoo email id but it gave same error Sorry this email cant be used. I deleted the app and installed again but still no luck.

I downloaded telegram desktop program for windows and logged in and it worked. Whats going on with my ios app ?
