Fix Slow Linux VPS Now
Budget: ₹750 – ₹1,250 INR
My Linux-based VPS was lightning-fast yesterday, but today every action drags. I need a seasoned server-side troubleshooter to hop on a live SSH or screen-share session with me, pinpoint the bottleneck, and get things back to normal right away.
• Environment: single VPS running standard web, database and mail services (no obvious component singled out yet).
• Symptoms: high page-load times and generally sluggish shell response; no recent intentional software changes on my end.
• What I’m expecting during the session: diagnose CPU, RAM, disk-I/O and network usage with tools such as top/htop, vmstat, iostat, netstat, journalctl, and log inspection; isolate any runaway processes, failed updates, permission issues or mis-configured daemons; apply quick fixes on the spot—service restarts, cache flushes, config tweaks, rolling back a problematic package, etc.
Deliverables (after the session)
1. Brief root-cause summary.
2. Commands and configuration edits performed.
3. Short list of preventive recommendations.
The goal is a working, responsive VPS before we sign off. If you’re confident in hands-on Linux performance tuning and can start immediately, let’s get this resolved.
