Fix Rocket LMS Instructor System & Permission Issues
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My Rocket LMS instance at academy2.romlendtraveling.com is already live on configured hosting, domain and SMTP, but the instructor side of the platform still needs solid Laravel troubleshooting.
Here is what I keep running into:
• The instructor approval flow must be switched to a fully manual process, yet the current code path keeps bypassing my review and activating accounts on its own.
• When approved instructors try to open their dashboard they hit assorted 500-level errors instead of the expected panel.
• Even after successful creation, instructors never appear in the public instructor list.
• Under-the-hood role and permission settings feel mismatched, blocking some pages and breaking a few instructor-only routes.
I need an experienced Rocket LMS / Laravel developer to dive into the existing codebase, trace these permission conflicts, and return a clean, fully functioning instructor experience.
Acceptance will be based on:
1. Manual approval toggle works and triggers correct e-mails/notifications.
2. Instructor dashboard loads without errors for all approved instructors.
3. Approved instructors show in the directory for every visitor role.
4. No unintended privilege escalations; all instructor pages and utilities operate as designed.
Everything else in the platform—courses, payments, SMTP—already runs fine, so this is a focused bug-fix engagement, not a ground-up rebuild. If you have real Rocket LMS experience and can knock this out quickly, I’m ready to get started today.
Need someone who can start immediately and finish quickly.
