Fix Janome MC500E USB Issue
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
My Janome MC 500E Limited Edition refuses to read any design I place on a USB stick. Even after testing a second drive, the machine still will not pull the .JEF logos across—nothing appears in the list on-screen.
I need someone who already knows the quirks of this exact model and can walk me through, step-by-step, how to:
• prepare or re-format a compatible USB drive (FAT/FAT32 if required),
• verify that each .JEF file is exported correctly from software such as Janome Digitizer JR/MBX, Artistic Digitizer or similar,
• load the designs so they actually show up on the MC 500E menu without triggering “No Embroidery Files” or related errors.
You may troubleshoot live over Zoom, Teams or similar, or supply an illustrated guide/video followed by Q&A. I’ll consider the job complete once I can reliably copy new .JEF designs from the USB and stitch a test sample.
