Fix n8n Google Sheets Integration -- 2

I have an n8n workflow that needs to read and update a Google Sheet. I set up the credential with OAuth 2.0, authorised the app in my Google account, but every test run throws “Forbidden – perhaps check your credentials?”.

I’d like a hands-on walkthrough that gets the connection working and leaves me with a repeatable setup process. Screen-sharing or a concise step-by-step document is fine, as long as by the end the node can successfully list, read and write rows without errors.

Deliverables
• Real-time troubleshooting session (or detailed guide) showing the exact changes in Google Cloud Console, OAuth consent screen, scopes and n8n credential settings
• Confirmation of a successful test call to the Sheets API from within n8n
• Brief notes so I can replicate the fix in another workspace

If switching to a service account or adjusting scopes turns out to be the cleanest solution, I’m open to that—just explain why and demonstrate it working.
