Fix Autostart Issue Windows Photo Booth
Budget: €30 – €250 EUR
My client’s interactive photo booth runs on a Windows 11 PC and must boot, launch Fotomaster MirrorMe Booth, and shut down entirely on its own. At BIOS level the machine powers up correctly and MirrorMe is set to start with Windows, yet some background task or service blocks it from opening; this happens every single time the system restarts and Windows shows no error pop-ups or warnings.
I will give you remote access so you can trace what is hijacking or delaying the startup chain. Typical tools I expect you’ll touch are Event Viewer, Task Scheduler, Autoruns, Services, and the registry, but feel free to bring any diagnostics you trust. Because MirrorMe needs internet connectivity for licence checks and updates, the solution must leave all network functionality intact.
Once you locate the culprit I need a clean, lasting fix—whether that is editing a scheduled task, disabling a conflicting service, adjusting startup order, or scripting a controlled delay—so the booth software launches flawlessly after every reboot without manual intervention.
Deliverables (discrete and verifiable):
• Root-cause report outlining what prevented MirrorMe from starting
• Permanent configuration change or script applied and tested live via remote session
• Short step-by-step summary so I can reproduce the fix on backup units if needed
If you can solve this reliably, let’s get started.
