Buffalo LinkStation NAS Setup -- 2

I have a functioning Buffalo LinkStation and need it properly configured so our small family (1–5 users) can rely on it for everyday file storage. The Linkstation is currently in my local network. What I’m looking for is an expert who can set it up for external access thru internet. Literally, I want it to function like Google Drive.
