Azure Site-to-Site VPN Configuration for Secure Connectivity

We are looking to establish a secure Site-to-Site (S2S) VPN tunnel between a customer’s on-premises network and Microsoft Azure to enable seamless, encrypted communication between both environments. The scope of work includes configuring an Azure Virtual Network (VNet), creating a Gateway Subnet, deploying and configuring a Virtual Network Gateway (VPN Gateway), and setting up a Local Network Gateway with the customer’s public IP address and address space. The VPN connection will be established using IPSec/IKE (preferably IKEv2) with a shared key, along with proper routing configuration to ensure smooth data flow between networks.

The project also involves validating connectivity through RDP, SSH, ping, and application access, as well as troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during setup. Complete documentation of both Azure and customer-side configurations must be provided. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Azure networking, VPN configuration, and firewall devices such as Cisco, Fortinet, or MikroTik, with an expected delivery timeline of 1–3 days resulting in a fully functional and stable VPN tunnel.
