Share Heidelberg with Travelers? A Flexible Opportunity
Budget: €18 – €36 EUR
I’m putting together a small network of independent guides who can host private, two-hour (or longer) walking tours of Heidelberg in Spanish.
You’ll meet solo travellers or groups of up to six, set the pace that suits them, and weave in stories only someone who has called Heidelberg home for at least a year or two truly knows. I’m interested in people who know their favourite corners of the city inside out, whether that’s Heidelberg Castle, the Altstadt (Old Town), the Philosophenweg (Philosopher's Walk), the Old Bridge, and the Königstuhl funicular railway.
We don’t dictate a script; instead, you craft a personalised route that reflects the traveler's interest and/or your passions: history, street art, food, nature, or a bit of everything, so our travelers feel as if they’re discovering the city with a friend.
Scheduling is flexible. You pick the days you’re available, I match you with travellers, and you earn 20-30 EUR per hour depending on the final group size. Payments are processed the following week after each tour.
Expected Deliverables:
• A custom, two-hour (minimum) walking itinerary tailored to the traveller’s interests
• Friendly, insightful guidance on the day, conducted in Spanish with the option to also do tours in English, Portuguese, Italian, or French as bookings are received.
• A short post-tour feedback note highlighting what went well and any guest comments.
If you love sharing Heidelberg’s culture and have lived here between one and three years, or longer, let’s talk. Drop me a quick note about the places you know best and we can set up a call!
