On-call interpreters for English - Spanish and vice versa
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
Working location: Remote. Interpreters are required to log in at least from 8pm CST or earlier up until 12am CST or later.
Job description
• Fluency in English and the Target languages.
• Providing accurate verbal interpretation for limited English proficient (LEP) patients and families, members whose primary language is not English.
• Knowledge and/or experience with the culture(s) associated with the TARGET languages.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Excellent listening, retention and note taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy
• Patience, reliability, and professionalism.
• High-speed, reliable Internet connection and noise-free working environment are required.
• Experience as an interpreter is preferred.
Rate: 0.10 USD per minute of interpreting. Please note that this position is long-term. We do not hire people who live in the U.S.
