Vietnamese to English Translator / Interpreter (Business context)

Looking for a Vietnamese to English / English to Vietnamese translator to support our team in business meetings. Ability to translate Thai is favoured. Prefer Hanoi / Haiphong based profiles.

Scope may include legal / business terminology and context; project planning and management discussions; negotiations and general business / casual discussions.

Appreciate profiles with high level of professional mindset. A non-disclosure arrangement is required.

In terms of expectation, we are keen to work with you on the following basis:
- Initially, it will be a 2-3 days trip where business meetings will take place in Hanoi and Haiphong. We will need you to be on-site and to follow one of our directors in these meetings. Each meeting is around 1-2 hours, and we may have 3-4 meetings in total over 2-3 days. Apart from the meetings, we may need your help to translate casual / business discussions with our own team in Vietnam. This is considered your first assignment - rate quoted in this job post is negotiable

- Based on your performance of your first assignment, we will engage you for our subsequent trips to Hanoi / Haiphong. Expect 1-2 times visit each month on an ongoing basis as we are setting up our business in Vietnam for long term.
