Indie Campers was founded in Portugal, in 2013, by two friends, Hugo Oliveira (current CEO) and Stefan Koeppl, who decided to start a campervan rental company for travellers that arrived in Portugal searching for some of the best waves in Europe. Growing faster than expected at the time, Indie Campers quickly expanded into other countries, becoming more than a product just for surfers.
Today, Indie Campers is a Rental Marketplace for Road Trips that helps families, couples and groups of friends that want to travel on the road, to create lifetime memories and discover the best places in Europe. This accelerated growth, quickly propelled Indie Campers to become the largest player in Europe, in this industry.
Indie Campers is now a Rental Marketplace for Road Trips.We started as a campervan rental provider and are quickly moving into peer to peer rentals. Our vision is to be the world's #1 Road Trip provider. Our mission is to democratize Road Trips by maximizing experience and lowering prices.
Regarding the position: we’re looking for talented translators from all over the world to join Indie Campers content writing team as freelancers. We’re expecting writers to write around 10 articles per month, with an average of 1500 words. Depending on your availability, this can be adjusted. We’re expecting translators to translate around 5000 words per month. (Depending on your availability, this can be adjusted.)
In order to evaluate your skills and fit for the position, we would need to test you with a sample translation. In case your performance in this test is up to our standards we will pay you according to the given rate for your language skills, and you will join the team.
