Translating written materials from English to Spanish/ Portuguese

We are looking for a Translator to interpret written materials from English to Spanish / Portuguese language to the target language. The Translator must be able to accurately convey the meaning of the source text in the target language, ensuring that the translated version conveys the same meaning and style as the original.

Responsibilities:

Translate written material from the source language to the target language, ensuring accuracy in both meaning and style

Proofread and edit translated materials

Ensure translation is consistent with established style guides

Research terminology and cultural references to ensure curacy of translation

Maintain records of work completed

Monitor changes in the subject matter area and update existing translations

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree or higher in Translation or a related field

Native fluency in the target language with excellent verbal and written skills in both source and target languages

Knowledge of grammar, syntax, spelling, punctuation, regional dialects, etc. for both languages.
