Simultaneous translation of world languages

To better describe the idea/project in my mind, I write an example:
Imagine to find yourself, even for business or as a visitor for fun, in a remote village, let's say Arabic country, where they only speak their language, not even English and you have got an urgent need for a pharmacy or for anything in a supermarket and both you and your interlocutor are wearing a device (smartphone app comes to mind, connected to an earphone) that simultaneously translates your language words that are coming out from your mouth/voice into his language and vice versa (i.e. you speak Italian and simultaneously the person you've in front of you receive the translation into Arabic language of that small village, he then reply with his own language and you receive simultaneously his reply into italian)
