Several short picture-book stories currently in another language need to be rendered into clear, engaging English for children aged 3-5. The wording should remain educational and informative, supporting early-learning themes such as colors, numbers, and simple life lessons, while still feeling playful enough to hold a preschooler’s attention.
Cultural references can stay, be adapted, or be omitted according to what best serves young English-speaking readers; there is no fixed directive on this point.
Deliverables
• A polished English version of each story in an editable Word or Google Doc
• Vocabulary, sentence length, and rhythm suitable for read-aloud sessions with preschoolers
• Original narrative structure, pacing, and any rhymes preserved wherever possible
• Text proof-read and free of spelling or grammar errors
The project is complete once every story reads smoothly when read aloud and aligns with the educational tone described above. Please include a brief note on any previous work translating or writing early-childhood material and an estimated turnaround time per 600-word story.
