Native check for English lyrics translated from Japanese
Budget: $10 – $30 USD
I'm looking for a freelancer to help me with a native check for English lyrics that have been translated from Japanese. The lyrics are approximately 340 words in length and are intended for personal use which includes use in YouTube. I need someone who is fluent in English as the first language as well as having some understanding in Japanese in order to accurately assess the accuracy of the translation.
In most parts, I prioritized the sound and the word length to fit them in the melody while trying not to largely modify the context and interpretation. I appreciate if you can pick up the points that sound unatural for English speakers, and suggest alternatives. You don't need to fit them in the melody but are encouraged to give more than one alternative idea each so that I can select one to fit them in the melody. After my revision, please allow me to send it over to you for the final check.
