Multilingual Uganda Audio (Luganda, Rutooro, Runyakore) Transcription to English
Budget: $2 – $8 USD
I have a collection of MP3 interviews and conversations recorded in Luganda, Rutooro, Kiswahili, and Runyakore. Each file features only one or two voices. I need a clean, human-made transcript in English for every recording.
Please keep these points in mind while you work:
• Label each utterance with the actual speaker name (Interviewer and Interviewee) rather than generic numbers.
• Deliver a fluent, meaning-accurate English rendering; no machine translation or AI-assisted conversion is permitted.
• Preserve the flow of the dialogue—line breaks should follow every speaker change.
• Mark inaudible or unclear moments with a brief tag such as “[inaudible]” and note any significant background noises only when they interrupt comprehension.
I will share the MP3s or other audio format. If anything in the audio is culturally nuanced or ambiguous, flag it so we can clarify together.
Finished files should arrive in editable DOCX, one document per audio file, matching the original filename.
