Medical Translator and Reviewer (EN-SR)

We are seeking a Linguistic Validation Specialist to assist with the translation and validation of medical texts from English to Serbian. The ideal candidate will have experience in the linguistic validation of medical texts and be fluent in both English and Serbian. The candidate must also be able to perform the necessary steps of the linguistic validation process, which include source check, forward translation, reconciliation, bilingual review, backtranslation, review and editing, monolingual review by a practicing clinician, harmonization, and reporting.

Responsibilities:

Perform the necessary steps of the linguistic validation process, including source check, forward translation, reconciliation, bilingual review, backtranslation, review and editing, monolingual review by a practicing clinician, harmonization, and reporting.
Collaborate with other linguists to ensure accurate and consistent translations.
Keep accurate records of all steps taken during the linguistic validation process.
Provide regular updates to the Project Manager on the progress of the project.
