Making Literary Articles Easy to Read Through Translation

Job ID: 39985419

Budget: €250 – €750 EUR

I have a collection of short, literature-themed educational articles originally written in English, and I’d like to make them accessible to beginner-level readers in another language. Your role is to translate each article into your strongest target language while keeping the meaning intact and the tone simple, clear, and easy for new learners to follow.

What I will provide
• The original English articles (typically 700–900 words each)
• Any existing glossaries or reference notes

What I need from you
• A beginner-friendly, accurate translation of each article in an editable format (Google Docs or Word)
• Brief inline comments whenever an idiom or cultural reference needs adjustment
• A short end-note (2–3 sentences) explaining any major stylistic decisions that differ from the source text

Project details
• Topic: Literature (author profiles, genre explanations, reading tips, etc.)
• Source language: English
• Target audience: Early language learners—keep vocabulary simple and sentences short
• Tone: Clear, informative, and approachable, without academic complexity

I’ll review the first completed translation as a milestone. Once it meets the level of clarity and accuracy I’m aiming for, you can continue with the remaining articles. If you enjoy making literary content accessible to beginners, I’d be happy to work together.
