Looking for full-time Linguist/Project Manager

Job Description: Cinepros is looking for a project manager to handle subtitling, translation, and captioning projects. In addition to simply managing projects small and large, you will be hands-on with many projects.

Since this job is 100% remote, we at Cinepros strive to maintain communication between our employees and our clients. The company has grown steadily since its inception and there will be plenty of opportunities to flourish with the company.
Tasks: As we have a constant flux of new projects; every day is different. Some examples of tasks you will be charged with are:
• QCing subtitles (mostly in English and Spanish; possibly other languages depending on your abilities)
• Assigning work to freelance translators and subtitlers
• Preparing subtitles to be translated
• Captioning videos in English
• Managing large translation and subtitling projects
• Communicating with clients (receiving projects, delivering projects, updating clients, asking questions…)
Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
• Native fluency in English and Spanish
• Project management skills
• Linguistic abilities
• Experience with writing
• Translation
• Subtitling and captioning
• Knowledge of digital video
The following skills are not required but would be beneficial:
• Video editing
• Desktop publishing (InDesign, Illustrator…)
• Professional writing
Keep in mind that this is a full-time position (40 hours per week). The hours can be flexible, but the expectation would be that you work during EST business hours on weekdays. But that's not set in stone.
