Skills and Experience:
- Fluent in English with a strong command of grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation
- Previous experience in tutoring or teaching English to non-native speakers
- Knowledge of different teaching methods and materials to cater to the client's needs
- Ability to effectively communicate and explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner
Requirements:
- The tutor must reside in Canada or the United States
- Intermediate English proficiency is required to effectively communicate and understand the client's needs
- The main goal of the tutoring sessions is to improve the client's general English skills, including reading, writing, speaking, and listening
- The tutor should be able to create a structured and customized learning plan based on the client's strengths, weaknesses, and learning style
- Regular sessions, preferably on a weekly basis, should be conducted either in person or online, depending on the tutor's location and availability
